| About | LINDA JOYCE GREER PERKINS, 57, of Mansfield, died Monday, July 2, 2007, at her home. Born July 16, 1949, in Pikeville, Bledsoe County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of Martha Britt Greer. A 1967 graduate of Mansfield Senior High School, Joyce worked as a teacher at Mansfield City Schools. Mrs. Perkins was a member of the National Teachers Association and was very active with Mansfield City Schools, where she enjoyed teaching math. She enjoyed spending time with her grandson and reading. She is survived by her husband, Larry Perkins of Mansfield, her mother, Martha Greer of Mansfield, daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Phil Dollish of Mansfield, grandson, Zachary Dollish of Mansfield, three brothers, James and Johnny "Larry" Greer, both of Mansfield and Harold Greer of Indiana and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Eskil and Nellie Britt of Mansfield and aunt, Ann Imhoff. |
