| About | tephen Paul Louis Glaze, age 55, of Mansfield, died Thursday April 29, 2004 at home following an extended illness. Mr. Glaze was born December 28, 1948 in Mansfield, Ohio living here all of his life. He retired from Empire Reeves & AK Steel after 33 years of service. Mr. Glaze was a graduate of Mansfield Senior High School. He enjoyed being outdoors, spending time with grandchildren and cruising around in his van since his retirement. Surviving are his mother, Mary Kay Woerth Glaze; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Stephen & Sherri Glaze of Ashland and Jason Glaze of Shelby; four grandchildren, Hayley, Madison, and twins, Collin & Brayden Glaze; two brothers, Tom & Vicky Glaze of Mansfield, Jacques Glaze of Marion; two aunts, Maxine Mecurio of Mansfield Esther Woerth of Columbus; an uncle and aunt, Don & Donna Woerth of Mansfield; a godchild Jenny McHenry of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; fourteen nieces & nephews; numerous grandnieces, grandnephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Glaze; a brother, Keith Glaze; a sister, Karen Gordon; grandparents, Louis & Laura Woerth and Paul & Leah Glaze and his ex-wife, Joyce Mahoney. |
| Events | Friends may call at the Diamond Street Home of Wappner Funeral Directors Thursday May 6, 2004 from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. following calling hours and will be conducted by Pastor Bruce Copley. Memorial contributions may be made to the Crestview School Athletic Association, 1575 St. Route 96, Ashland, Ohio or left at the funeral home. |
