| About | William David "Bill" Conard, Jr., 60, of Columbus, Indiana, formerly of Mansfield, Ohio, died at 8:55 p.m. Saturday, November 14, 2009 at Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility in Columbus. Mr. Conard served the community of Mansfield, Ohio as a firefighter for 25 years. He was a member of North Christian Church in Columbus, IN and was an avid fan of the Ohio State Buckeye football team, the Cleveland Indians and the Cleveland Browns. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 21, 2009 at North Christian Church, 850 Tipton Lane, Columbus, IN 47201 with Dr. Lanny C. Lawler officiating. Family and friends may call from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at the church. The family asks that memorial contributions be made North Christian Church Memorial Fund. Arrangements were by Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home. Born in Huntington, West Virginia October 19, 1949, Mr. Conard was the son of William David and Betty L. Miller Conard, Sr. Survivors include his sons, Chad Ryan (Jessica) Conard of Strongsville, OH and Terry Lee (Yvonne) Conard of Caryville, TN; grandchildren, Hannah Conard of Columbus, OH and Christopher Conard of Caryville, TN; sisters, Linda Boyd of Mansfield, OH and Debby (Terry) Shaw of Columbus, IN; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Conard was preceded in death by his parents. |
