About | FRANCIS' OBITUARY Francis X. Katzenberger, Jr, 65, of Hatfield, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 4, 2018. Born December 11, 1952, in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Francis X. Katzenberger, Sr., and Gladys E. (O’Connor) Katzenberger. He was of the Catholic faith. His main profession throughout his working life was a systems analyst. In recent years, Frank attended Temple University. For those who knew him they would say he dabbled in just about everything. He enjoyed traveling and many times could be found reaching out and talking to well-read people through avenues of social media. Another way he enjoyed talking to various people was being an Uber driver. Frank was an individual that when intrigued with something he would often go exploring, in order to learn more. In his youth, Frank was a proud Boy Scout, and also participated in football, wrestling, and lacrosse. He was an avid Philadelphia sports and Yankees fan and enjoyed drawing. His survivors include six siblings, Gail E. Custer (Jim) and their children, Jennifer and Andrew, of Grayson, GA; Cindy A. Katzenberger and her daughter, Laurel, of Schwenksville; Kenneth T. Katzenberger, of North Wales; Paula J. Robinson (Mark) and their children, Justin and Paige, of Shelbyville, TX; Carol J. Katzenberger, and James E. Katzenberger, both of Lansdale. He is pre deceased by a sister Marie L. Katzenberger. There will be a viewing starting 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 18, 2018, at Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, 701 Derstine Ave., Lansdale, PA, 19446, with Funeral Services at 2:30 p.m. Interment will be private. |
