| About | April 6, 1955 - November 5, 2010 Alliance, OH Kirk 'Flash' Reiter, age 55, of Alliance, Ohio, passed away Friday, Nov. 5, 2010 in his home, following an extended illness. He was born April 6, 1955 in Canton, Ohio. Kirk was a truck driver for Goat Hill Trucking in Alliance. He loved to compete in garden tractor pulling and enjoyed all kinds of tractors and tractor pulls. Kirk is survived by his long time partner, Virginia 'JR' Locke; his daughter, Amber K. Reiter (Jesse Burghardt) of Homeworth, Ohio; his mother, Sara (Barton) Reiter of Louisville; twp sisters, Tami (Tom) Myers and Lyda Stalnaker all of Louisville; three brothers, Randy Reiter of Louisville, Steve (Tammy) Reiter of Alliance, Ty (Janet) Reiter of Louisville; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon 'Pete' Reiter, Jr, in 2008. A memorial service will be 7 p.m. Tuesday at Stier-Israel Funeral Home, Louisville, Ohio with Rev. Cathy Arble officiating.
