I'm very sad to learn that my friend Patty Dillion has died of cancer. Patty was one of the funniest people I knew. I'll always remember these two memories we shared of biology class: getting in trouble for turning in a "science" report on the Keebler elves, and Patty getting in trouble for reading--and hysterically laughing (so flattering!) about--a humorous booklet I had made for Christmas poking fun of our friends. We emailed briefly a few years ago, and I meant to visit Patty on one of my trips to Ohio. I'm so sorry I never made that happen. RIP, Patty. I know you're making God laugh. xoxox |
