| About | After his graduation from college in 1928, he took a teaching and coaching job at McKinley High School in Canton Ohio. He established a top notch swimming program leading his teams to win 13 state swimming titles with 6 consecutive titles from 1956 thru 1961. Coach Branin retired in 1972. The C.T.Branin Natatorium opened in 1975 as a result of a generous donation from the Timken Foundation . This facility named in his honor, and remains as one of the most modern swimming facility in the state of Ohio. |
