Dr. Patricia Martin, age 46, died unexpectedly, early Thanksgiving morning. Patty was an exceptionally warm and loving person, always helping others and giving of herself. She was Principal Clarinet of the Baton Rouge Symphony since 1996 and Assistant Professor of Woodwinds at Southern University. Patty had degrees from Eastman School of Music, Michigan State University and Louisiana State University. Her love of people, music and life was obvious to anyone who knew her. She will be sorely missed. |
