| About | Chris L. Kemnitzer, 67, formerly of Mount Gilead, Ohio was killed in an auto accident on December 16, 2021 near Mira Monte, California. He was born on October 12, 1954 in Marysville, Ohio to the late George and Phyllis (Steinbaugh) Kemnitzer. His family moved to Mount Gilead in 1958. Chris graduated from Mount Gilead High School in the Class of 1973. He resided for many years in Denver, Colorado before moving to California. Chris had a great sense of humor, unique smile and was a free spirit. Survivors include three brothers Ronald, John and Michael; a sister Barbara Evans; many nieces, nephews and friends. A brother, David Kemnitzer, preceded him in death in 2019. Private family services were observed. (Obituary courtesy of Trent Snyder) |
