| About | Betty was my aunt. She passed away September 5, 2009 at the age of 85, preceded in death by husband, Raymond Scott. She was a Rootstown School District bus driver and retired after 25 years service. She had 3 sisters and 2 brothers, all attended North High School except brother Ray who graduated from Hower after receiving a high school & diesel mechanics diploma. Survivors included 6 children, 17 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Her brother, Bob Grissett, was killed in action in WW II, his picture and an American Flag was hanging in the auditorium for many years at North High School. Betty suffered from alzheimers for the last 12 years and passed away due to a stroke. She will be missed by many. |
