David H. Taylor, 62, passed away October 7, 2021 at his home in Raleigh, North Carolina of natural causes. He is survived by his son, Maxwell H. Taylor, of Boulder, Colorado. David lived an adventurous life that took him from being a skinny boy in Cleveland, Ohio who achieved a varsity letter in three sports at Orange High School to lobster fisherman out of Narragansett, Rhode Island to achieving a M.S. in Marine Affairs with a published thesis to owning a successful business. He grooved on Hall & Oats, spoke near fluent French, and loved his dog, Heddy. His masterpiece was his son, Maxwell. You may have seen them skiing black diamonds in the Rocky Mountains, playing golf, or picking up sticks in the backyard. Everyone who remembers David is asked to celebrate his life in their own way; raising a glass of your favorite spirit in his memory would make him smile. A private ceremony will be held on his favorite mountain in Colorado before the first snow. |
