| About | Rev. Father Kevin L. Fete was the pastor of the Little Flower Catholic Church in Middlebranch, Ohio, and he was an administrator of St. Peter of the Fields Catholic Church in Rootstown, Ohio. He died on July 23, 2006 at Massillon Community Hospital following a brief illness. He was born on October 7, 1957 in Canton. He was the son of James E. Fete, Sr. and Dorothy (Perretta) Myers. Father Keven Fete was a 1976 graduate of Perry High School, previously attending Edison Junior High School and St. Joan of Arc Grade School. He received his seminary education at St. Gregory Seminary in Cincinnati, Moreau Seminary, Notre Dame, and completed his seminary education at Mount St. Mary Seminary. Rev. Father Kevin L. Fete was ordained on March 30, 1985. He served as catechist at Cardinal Mooney High School in Youngstown, pastor of Little Flower Parish in Middlebranch [Stark County], administrator of St. Peter of the Fields Parish in Rootstown, Chaplain for the Knights of Columbus Council 274 in Youngstown, and he was a member of the Diocesan Priest Council. Rev. Father Kevin Fete was preceded in death by his father James E. Fete, Sr. who died in 2000; grandparents Ray and Helen Fete, and Dominic and Maria Perretta. Rev. Father Kevin Fete left behind his mother Dorothy (Perretta) Myers of Canton, two brothers and a sister, and their families. Mass of Christian burial was held at Little Flower Catholic Church. Burial was at Calvary Cemetery. The Wackerly Funeral Home took care of Rev. Father Kevin Fete. |
