| About | Bonnie Henrietta Harrison Hamilton, 65, of Portsmouth, passed away Saturday, April 3, 2010, at the SOMC Hospice Center. She was born in Holden, W.Va., Sept. 1, 1944, to the late Earl and Opal Mae McCallister Harrison. Bonnie was retired from the Mitchellace Corp., and had worked for the former Williams Manufacturing Co., and she was a 1962 graduate of Piketon High School. Surviving Bonnie are her husband, Elbert Samuel Hamilton, whom she married in Portsmouth on Nov. 2, 1967; two brothers, Okey T. Harrison of Chillicothe and Virgil R. Harrison of San Antonio, Texas; and four sisters, Hazel Burkitt of Lucasville, Arminta Lightle of Johnstown, Myrtle Harrison of Piketon and Loretta Pinkerton of Waverly. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, 2010, at the Ralph F. Scott Funeral Home in Portsmouth, with Darrell Pinkerton, minister, officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour Wednesday at the funeral home.
