| About | Graveside services for Charles Byrd Shoop, 68, Kettering, will be held 1 pm Wednesday at Mound Cemetery in Piketon. Shoop, a former Piketon High School graduate, died 10 pm Sunday in Kettering Medical Center after being in failing health. Survivors include his wife, Mary Taylor, both of Kettering. Shoop was a retired procurement agent for the Army Corps of Engineers and a member of the Society of Military Engineers. Tobias Funeral Home, Dayton, is handling arrangements.
