| About | Daniel Neal Vance, age 50, of Chenowethh Fork Rd., Piketon, OH, died Friday, April 6, 2012 at his residence surrounded by his family and friends. He was born May 22, 1961 in Floyd County, KY a son of the late Emmitt and Mary Geneva Stewart Vance. Surviving is his wife Christina Dyke Vance whom he married in October, 1978; one son, Swayne Neal Vance (Jessie Pearson); two daughters, Jessice Denise Vance Scaff (Elisha B.) and Chasity Anna McBride (Joseph Nichols) all of Pike County, OH; five brothers, Larry and William Vance both of Kentucky, Frank, Jack and Ben Litteler of Ohio; two sisters, Carol of Tennessee and Onetta Garten of Florida; four grandchildren, Daniel Anthony Vance, Anthony Dale Vance, Christian Danielle Scaff and Nicholas Elijah Scaff; several step-grandchildren; Special friends, Moses Perez, Lashawn McNeil, Peanut Bliss, Jamie Montgomery and Sabrina Montgomery and a special niece Valerie Vance. Daniel was preceded in by one son Daniel Anthony Vance; one brother, Ernest Vance; three sisters, Loretta, Anna Sue and Alice. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 9, 2012, at the Botkin Funeral Home, Waverly. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Botkin Funeral Home 314 E. North St. Waverly, OH 45690. Daniel Vance, age 22, of Meadow Run Road, Waverly, passed away at 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 22 in Waverly. He was born April 22, 1979 in Dayton, the son of Daniel Neal and Christina Dee Ann (Dyke) Vance. He was a carpenter and a 1998 graduate of Piketon High School. Services will be held at 2 p.m. at Boyer Funeral Home. Friends were able to call at the funeral home from 4 to 8 p.m. on Saturday. 2001 |
