About | Darrick Edward Legg, 39, of Morgan Fork Rd. Waverly, Ohio died Wednesday June 24, 2009 at the Pike Community Hospital as the result of an auto accident on S.R. 124 near Idaho, Ohio. He was born on November 30, 1969 in Chillicothe, Ohio, and is the son of John T. Legg of Piketon, Ohio and Shirley Montgomery Bair of Waverly. He was united in marriage on October 1, 2005 to Miranda Ellen Carroll Legg who survives; also surviving is a daughter, Kearstin Carroll of Piketon; his step father, Charlie Bair of Waverly; grandparents, Esaw and Flossie Montgomery of Piketon; a brother, Christopher (Regina) Legg of Bainbridge, Ohio; a step brother, Aaron (Amanda) Bair of Piketon; three step sisters, Mona (Scott) Dixon of Waverly, Kammy (Dale) Lowe of Winston Salem, NC, Amy (Gary) Daniel of Latham; special nephew and nieces, Sydney, Chloe, Brenna, and Brice; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Delbert and Pauline Legg. He was a former employee of Quality Craftsmen Co. in Circleville, Ohio a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local #24, and a 1988 graduate of Piketon High School. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Botkin Funeral Home in Waverly with Barry Valentine officiating. Burial will follow in the Gardner Cemetery.
