| About | Dessie O. Kofod, 101, died Wednesday at the Laurels of Mount Vernon in Mt. Vernon. She was born October 11, 1898 the daughter of the late Elmer and Ida Dawson. She was also preceded in death by her husband: Henry Kofod, one son, one grandson, two brothers, and one sister. She is survived by a daughter-in-law, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at the Shoedinger Midtown Chapel, in Columbus. Visitation will be held one hour before the service hour. Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery at Piketon.
