| About | Donald M. Carson, 89, of St Ann’s Lane, Waverly, Ohio, died 11:57 a.m. Saturday February 18, 2012 at Traditions at Bristol Village. He was born October 9, 1922 in Piketon, Ohio, son of the late James R. Carson and Mollie (James) Carson. Surviving are a son, Michael R. Carson, of Groveton, New Hampshire, brother Russell E. Carson and wife Dorothy of Waverly Ohio, sister-in-law Bessie Carson, of Piketon, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, a daughter Donna Lee Carson and a brother James H. Carson preceded Donald in death. Donald attended New Covenant Church of Christ in Christian Union in Waverly, was a retired machinist for the Torrington Company in Torrington, Connecticut and was a veteran of WWII having served in the U.S. Navy on the Battleship USS Nevada. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at the HOWE WHEELER BOYER HORNBACK Funeral Home in Piketon with Rev. Walter Snyder officiating.
