| About | Doris (Bliankenship) Montgomery, 63, of Morgans Fork Road, Waverly, Ohio, passed 2:25 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at the Piketon Nursing Center in Piketon, Ohio. She was born December 5, 1952 in Waverly, Ohio, the daughter of the late Walter Blankenship and Hazel E. (McKinley) Blankenship. On August 16, 1988, Doris was united in marriage to Eugene Montgomery who survives. Also surviving are her daughter, Paula Holsinger of Sciotoville, Ohio, one step-son, Frank Montgomery of Tupper Plains, Ohio, one step-daughter, Sabrina Trego and husband Scott of Waverly, Ohio, five step-grandchildren, a brother, Marty Blankenship of Piketon, Ohio, two sisters, Barbara Crabtree and husband Tim of Piketon, Ohio and Alice Martin of Waverly, Ohio, sister-in-law, Robin Blankenship of Stockdale, Ohio, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Patrick Blankenship. Doris was a bartender having worked at Beril's Bar and Grill in Piketon, Ohio and The Grove, also in Piketon, Ohio. Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Friday, July 29, 2016 at the Boyer Funeral Home in Waverly, Ohio with Elder Therman Rigsby, officiating. Burial will follow in Gardner Cemetery, Waverly, Ohio. Family will receive friends at the Boyer Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Friday.
