| About | Edgar Throckmorton, 76, of 522 Marple Avenue, Piketon, died 12:45 a.m. Friday at Grant Medical Center, Columbus. Born in Pike County on June 15, 1912, he was the son of James Throckmorton and Rosa Curl of Pike County. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Julia Douthitt in 1979 and his second wife, Esther Mossbury, in 1988. Surviving are one sister, Edna Hale Ellenburg of Waverly; six nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers. He was retired from the New York Central Railroad. Services were held Sunday at Bethel Christian Church, the Rev. Elmer Burkitt, officiating.
