About | Edward Skinner, Sr., 77, of Findlay, Ohio and formerly of Pike County, died Friday November 4, 2016 at the V.A. Medical Center in Chillicothe, Ohio. He was born December 7, 1938 in Piketon, Ohio, son of the late Jesse Alonzo and Mary Kathryn Hudson Skinner. Surviving is a son, Edward Skinner, Jr. and wife Roxie of Findlay; a daughter, Mary Taylor of Findlay; two granddaughters, Amanda Taylor and Katie Skinner Benjamin; one grandson, Nicholas Taylor, and three great grandchildren, Aden and Rylan Taytor, and Mayleigh Benjamin; three sisters, Wanda Rogers of Georgia, Margaurite McKnight of Maryland and Betty Skinner of Piketon, Ohio. In addition to his parents, Edward was preceded in death by a great grandson Taren Taylor, and four brothers, Bill, Don, Jesse and Charlie Skinner. Edward was a retired supervisor for Phillips Manufacturing, an avid wood carver and a U.S. Navy veteran. Arrangements are under the direction of the Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly. |
