| About | Galen A. Johnson, 63, of Coldicott Hill Road, Lucasville, Ohio passed 4:45 a.m. Saturday, October 24, 2015 at his home with his family. He was born June 28, 1952 in Idaho, Ohio the son of Christa (Potter) Johnson of Lucasville, Ohio. On July 17, 1980 Galen was united in marriage to Sheila (Snively) Johnson who survives. Also surviving are his children, Renee G. Artz and husband Michael of Lucasville, Ohio, Ryan "Jake" Johnson and wife Friday of Lucasville, Ohio, and grandchildren, Paige Scaff, Andrea "Marcy" Johnson and Derrek Artz. Galen was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Elizabeth Galen Artz. He was a former truck driver and a machinist having worked for YSK, Fruehauf, and Parker Hannifin. Graveside Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at the Mt. Etna Cemetery, Piketon, Ohio with Pastor Larry Moore, officiating.
