| About | Gary Lee Williams, 65, of Long Fork Road, Piketon, Ohio, died 8:44 a.m. Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe, Ohio. He was born December 9, 1946 in Piketon, Ohio, son of the late Jack “GE” Williams and Betty Geneva (Corn) Williams Brandt. On August 6. 1966, Gary was united in marriage to Candice Ann (Steinhauer) Williams who survives. Also surviving are son, Gary Lee Williams, Jr. and daughter. Amanda J. Galloway and husband Mark both of Piketon, Ohio, seven grandchildren, Brittany, Sarah, James and Brandi Williams, Kaiti, Jacob and Tyler Galloway, two great grandchildren, Essence and Addison Williams, a brother, Phil Williams and a sister, Joan Williams both of Piketon, Ohio. Gary was a retired crew leader for the Pike County Engineer’s, Graduate of Piketon High School, class of 1965, Veteran of the U.S. Army, Life member of Operating Engineers, Local #18, Columbus, Ohio. His parents and two brothers, Mackie and Jackie Williams, preceded Gary in death. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, April 22, 2012 at the Boyer Funeral Home in Waverly with Walter “Jig” Smith, officiating. Burial will follow in Cotties Corner Cemetery, Piketon, Ohio.
