| About | Glenn E. Pettit, 91, of Hoffman Lane, Waverly, OH died Wednesday 9 February 2011 at his home. He was born 6 December 1919 in Piketon, OH the son of the late Ray E. Pettit and Leta Mae (Anderson) Pettit. On 29 June 2008 Glenn was united in marriage to Dianne Chapman-Pettit who survives. Also surviving are son, Dennis Pettit and wife Cheryl of Marysville, WA, daughter, Karen Welsh and husband James of Waverly, three grandsons, Brad Welsh and wife Joyce of Waverly, Jason and Jeffrey Pettit and granddaughter, Paula Geddes of Washington, three great grandchildren in Waverly and several in Washington, brother, Donald A. Pettit of Waverly and sister, Reva Holbrook of Waverly and wife’s children, Cindy Hambrick, Sarah Husseini, Samantha Irwin and Allyson Copper. Glenn was preceded in death by parents, first wife, Dorothy H. Pettit, one brother, Ronald Pettit, and 2 sisters, Leta Jean Fenner and Ella Jane Legg. Glenn was a member of the Family Life Fellowship Church of the Nazarene in Waverly, and retired Manager of Storage Division, Mead Corp., Chillicothe, OH. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday 12 February 2011 at the BOYER FUNERAL HOME in Waverly with Chaplain Renee Burleigh, Officiating.
