| About | Gracie Penn, 73, Piketon resident Gracie Penn, 73, of Piketon, was dead on arrival Thursday, November 16, 1995, at a Waverly hospital. Born February 15, 1922, in Piketon, a daughter of the late Albert Williams and Lucinda Locke Williams, she was a homemaker and a 1941 graduate of Piketon High School. She attended various churches in Pike County. Preceded in death June 5, 1976, by her husband, Albert Cyrus Penn, whom she married June 24, 1949, she is survived by 2 stepsons, Robert L. Penn and Benny I. Penn, both of Piketon; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Dale (Lillie Mae) Newland of Piketon; a sister, Mary Dawson of Jasper; 9 step grandchildren; and 12 step great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a stepson, Dale Penn; 4 brothers, John Sherman, Walter "Chet", and A. Calvin Williams; and a sister, Fannie Mercer. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Boyer Funeral Home in Waverly, with the Rev. Jimmie Williams officiating, and interment in Bethel Cemetery.
