About Funeral services for Harlan Byrd Mustard, 60, of Rt. 2, Piketon, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Howe Co. Funeral Home in Piketon, with Rev. Ernest Grooms officiating. Burial followed in Mound Cemetery there.
Mr. Mustard died at 2:30 p.m. Friday in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky, following a one year illness.
A native of Pike County, he was born on January 18, 1917, a son of Leslie “Les” and Ila Sherritt Mustard.
Surviving are his mother, at home; one son, Lewis Lee Mustard of Kellogg, Idaho; one brother, Ronald Mustard of Wilmington; and one sister, Mrs. Preston (Wanda) Shoemaker of Mason, O.
He was predeceased by his father and two brothers.
Mr. Mustard was a member of the John Sanders Post of the American Legion in Piketon
