About | HENRIETTA ANDERSON QUINCY - Henrietta Anderson, 58, a 35-year Quincy resident, died on Saturday, March 11, 1995, at her home. She was born Feb. 26, 1937, to Plato and Willamae (Mease) Saltz at Hayesville, N.C. She attended and graduated from Piketon High School in Piketon, Ohio, in 1954. She attended Western Carolina University and graduated from Central Washington University in Ellensburg. She married Harold Anderson on Dec. 20, 1957, in Hayesville, N.C. She began her teaching career in 1957 at Hayesville. They moved to Quincy in 1959. She taught school for four years in Coulee City, then taught for the Quincy School District for 17 years before retiring in 1981. Survivors include her husband, at home; her father, Plato Saltz of Hayesville, N.C.; a brother, Russell Saltz of Hayesville, N.C.; and a sister, Mary Zell Manro of Mercer Island. She was preceded in death by her mother, a brother and a niece. Scharbach's Columbia Funeral Chapel in Quincy is in charge of arrangements.
