About | Hobert "Hobie" Hicks, 35 of Pinehurst Blvd. Waverly, died Wednesday July 4, 2007 at the Ohio State Univeristy Medical Center as the result of a motorcycle accident on June 21st. He was born on April 7, 1972 in Dayton, OH and is the son of Joyce Ann King Conley of Waverly and Stoney Rockford Hicks, Sr. of Dayton, OH. Surviving are his fiancé Nicki Carrington of Waverly, 5 daughters: Ashley and Olivia Hicks of Waverly, Katelyn, Faith Ann, and Hailey Hicks all of Fairborn, OH, 1 brother, Stoney Rockford Hicks, Jr. of New Carlisle, 2 sisters: Donna Frye Johnson of Piketon, Sabrina Ann Hicks of Xenia, OH, special friends, Tommy Trent and wife Amy of Piketon, and many friends, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was a carpenter and a 1991 graduate of Piketon High School. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday at Botkin Funeral Home in Waverly. Burial will follow in the Bailey Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call on Sunday from 5:00-8:00 P.M. and Monday from 12:00 noon-1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
