| About | James Day, 47, Piketon Resident James M. Day, 47, of Piketon, died Thursday, January 9, 1997, at a Columbus Hospital. Born October 2, 19949, in Yankee Hill, he was a son of Irene M. Hart Day of Piketon and the late Vernon V. Day. He was an employee of the former Freuhauf Corporation in Waverly and served in the Army. Surviving are four brother, Vernon Day, Troy Day, Frank Day and Thomas Day, all of Piketon; a sister, Linda Day of Piketon; and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a brother Louis Day. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Botkin Funeral Home in Waverly, with interment in the Smith Hill Cemetery.
