| About | Jerry Charles Brandt, Sr., 70, of Springfield, Ohio died 9:52 a.m. Monday August 2, 2010 at Springfield Regional Hospital in Springfield. He was born June 6, 1940 in Wakefield, Ohio, son of the late Charles Leon Brandt and Beulah Gilmore Brandt. On December 19, 1960, Jerry was united in marriage to Charlotte Faye Parker Brandt who survives. Also surviving are three children, Jerry Charles Brandt, Jr. and wife Jeanette of Springfield; Robert Brandt and wife Julie of Germantown, Ohio; Beth Brandt of New Carlisle, Ohio; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Jerry was retired from General Motors in Dayton, Ohio and attended the Huber Heights Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday August 6, 2010 at the Howe Wheeler Boyer Hornback Funeral Home in Piketon, Ohio with Rev. Lowell King officiating. Burial will follow in Bailey Chapel Cemetery, Piketon. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday and from 11:00 a.m. until the service on Friday. www.boyerfuneral.com |
