| About | John Floyd Brannan, 68, of Waverly, Ohio, died 2:45 p.m. Thursday, September 11, 2014 in Traditions at Bristol Village, Waverly, Ohio. He was born June 29, 1946 in Piketon, Ohio the son of the late Warren D. Brannan and Hazel A. (Lute) Brannan. John was united in marriage on July 12, 1980 to Jeannie Lynn (Claytor) Brannan who survives. Also surviving are a brother, Robert W. Brannan and wife Barbara of Piketon, Ohio, sisters, Ruby F. Shanks and husband Lloyd of Waverly, Ohio, Frances M. Ward of Chillicothe, Ohio, Susan E. Isaac of Waverly, Ohio and Hazel M. Brannan of Waverly, Ohio. John was preceded in death by his parents, infant sister, Wilma Brannan, infant brother, Thomas Brannan, brother, Earl E. Brannan and sisters, Mary C. Pittman, Elizabeth F. (Betty) Isaac and great nephew Tony Brannan. John was retired from Mead Corporation in Chillicothe, Ohio with 23 years of service and also employed at Parker Hannifin Corporation, Waverly, Ohio with 23 years of service. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 15, 2014 at the BOYER FUNERAL HOME in Waverly with Rev. Keith Richardson, officiating.
