| About | CHILLICOTHE: Johnny G. Rexroad, 65, of Chillicothe, died 3:19 p.m. Saturday, February 15, 2014 in the Adena Regional Medical unexpectedly. He was born February 17, 1948, in Columbus, Ohio, to Junior and Betty Williams Rexroad. On October 31, 1994, he married the former Marie Jordan who survives. Also surviving are his father, Junior Rexroad, of Jasper, Ohio; children, John (Tracey) Rexroad and Debbie (Chris) Kizer; stepchildren, Sherri (Ray) Fuller, of Blacklick, Gary L. (Dorothy Cox) Hammond and Kimberlee (Thomas) Tackett, of Chillicothe; 4 grandchildren; 3 step grandchildren; 2 step great grandchildren; brothers, Jim Rexroad and Jerry (Marla) Rexroad, of Piketon; a sister, Judy (Tony) Carter, of Chillicothe; many nieces and nephews; and his loving companion, his dog, Bear. He was predeceased by his mother. Johnny served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from Igel Construction. Johnny was a member of the VFW Post 108, AMVETS Post 4, American Legion Post 62 and F.O.E. Aeries 600. He was an organ donor.
