Joyce E. (Williams) Barker, 80, of Jasper Road, Piketon, Ohio, went to be with the Lord, Friday, February 27, 2015 at her home. She was born March 1, 1934 in Elm Grove, Ohio, daughter of the late Calvin B. and Opal M. (Smith) Williams. On June 26, 1954, Joyce was united in marriage to Harold Lloyd Barker who preceded her in death. Surviving is a daughter, Lana Cooper and husband, Michael of Waverly; two sons, Wayne Barker and wife, Loretta of Piketon, and Eric Barker of Piketon; four grandchildren, Natalie (Cooper) O'Neil and husband, Erik, Amanda Cooper, Aaron Barker, and Tyler Barker; two great-grandsons, Kavan and Lucas O'Neil; and one brother, Frank Williams and wife, Margaret of Waverly. Joyce was a homemaker and cared for her family and community. She enjoyed attending church with her children. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 5, 2015 at the HOWE WHEELER BOYER HORNBACK Funeral Home in Piketon with Pastor Dale Reed and Rev. James David Smith Officiating. A private burial will follow in Mound Cemetery, Piketon, with Pastor Barry Pelphrey officiating. Calling hours will be held from 11:00 a.m., until the funeral Hour at the Piketon Funeral Home.
