June Carol Burton Rigsby, 65, of State Route 335, Waverly, Ohio, died 8:57 p.m. Sunday, October 11, 2009 at Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus, Ohio.She was born June 11, 1944 in Paintsville, Kentucky, daughter of the late Russell Jefferson and Ethel Combs Burton. On August 29, 1965, June was united in marriage to James Marvin Rigsby who survives.Also surviving is a son, James Dustin Rigsby and wife Vanessa of Waverly; a daughter, Shelley Rebecca Murray of Waverly; four grandchildren, James Devon Rigsby, Shane Dale Murray, James Dilon Murray and Tesla Rae Murray; three brothers, Russell Gene Burton, Jr. of Waverly, Ronald Burton of Brookville, Ohio and Donnie Burton of Wakefield, Ohio; one sister, Edna Johnson of Pikeville, Kentucky and many nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, a brother, Thomas Earl Burton preceded June in death.Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 15, 2009 at the Boyer Funeral Home in Waverly with Elder Wayne Rigsby, Bro. Jeffrey Conley and Elder A. C. Murray officiating.
