| About | Kathryn E. Armstrong Mustard, age 61, of Jasper Road, Piketon, was called to Heaven, 2:35 a.m. Friday, June 23, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth. She was born Mar 30, 1945, in Pike County, a daughter of Floyd and Corda Beavers Louderback. Survivors include her husband Elgin Mustard, daughter, Pamela Jill Armstrong Jefferies of Kingston, Tennessee, one son David Allen Armstrong and wife Liberty of Piketon, grandchildren, Allen Hammett ‘Trey” Jefferies III, Molly, Owen and Maggie Armstrong, three brothers, Delmer B. Louderback of Waverly, Thomas R. Louderback and Paul F. Louderback both of Piketon, four sisters, Norma Jean Virgin of Latham, Helen Louise Massie of Wilmington, Brenda Sue Tate of Waverly, and Barbara Ann Daunt of Springfield, brother and sister-in-law, Carl and Betty Downard, and special friends, Donna Sue Smith Lemon, Jessie Davis, and Vicki Keaton. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Gordon Dale Louderback and William Louderback, and a grandson, Joshua Robert Jefferies. Kathryn retired from the Scioto Valley School System with 26 years of service. Mother was a wonderful parent when we were growing up. She was a wonderful friend when we re ached adulthood. She loved us and her grandchildren with all her heart. We were lucky to have such a wonderful woman to call a mother and friend. Funeral services were held Monday at the Botkin Funeral Home in Waverly with Rev. James Daulton officiating. Burial followed in Arkoe Cemetery. |
