About | PIKETON: Latha Pauline Foster, 94, of Main Street, Piketon, Ohio died Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. She was born January 15, 1917 in Piketon, daughter of the late Thomas Olney Armintrout and Latha Edith Beekman Armintrout. In 1947, Pauline was united in marriage to John B. Foster, Jr., who preceded her in death on March 31, 2004. Surviving are two sons, Philip Foster and wife, Vicki of Piketon, Fred Foster and wife, Dawn of Piketon; four grandchildren, Jason Foster, Ryan Foster, Amanda Little and Justin Foster; eight great grandchildren; and sister, Arline Trusty of Piketon. In addition to her parents; and husband; two brothers, McKenzie Armintrout and Edison Armintrout; as well as a sister, preceded Pauline in death. Pauline was a member of the Piketon Church of Christ, the Village Clerk in Piketon for many years, and was owner and operator of Village Laundry in Piketon since 1966. Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Friday at the Howe Wheeler Boyer Hornback Funeral Home in Piketon, with Jack Hall, Minister officiating. Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery, Piketon.
