About | Leah M. (Dixon) McCoy, 75, 0f Waverly, died 5:20 pm. Thursday at Twin City Hospital Niceville, Fla. She was born August 19, 1921, in Piketon to Floyd and Mildred Cooper Dixon, who preceded her in death. She was a member of the Piketon-Jasper Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women, Rebekah Lodge, and was a former 4-H leader. She was retired from Trainers Jewelers with 18 years of service. She is survived by her husband, Goodsell McCoy, whom she married on October 9, 1942; one son, Terrence L.McCoy of McMurray, Pa.; one daughter, Dianne L. Fields of Freeport, Fla.; four grandchildren, Jamie L., Justin P., and Terrence J. McCoy and Katy L. Jackson; and one great-grandchild, Leah Courtney, Jackson; one sister, Geraldine Brown of Worthington, Ohio. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Myron and Floyd Dixon Jr. and one sister, Lucille Heilbel. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Botkin Funeral Home in Waverly with Rev. Alan O.
