About | Leona M. Conley, 94, of Bobo Road, Beaver, Ohio, died Friday May 2, 2008 at Pleasant Hill Manor, Piketon, Ohio. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2008 at Howe Wheeler Boyer Hornback Funeral Home in Piketon with Pastor Jeffrey Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery, Piketon. Friends may call at the funeral home 4-8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until service time on Tuesday. She was born March 30, 1914, in Seal Township, Piketon, the daughter of the late Thomas O. and Maggie (Brigner) Zimmerman. On September 10, 1932, Leona was united in marriage to Milburn Conley, who preceded her in death on May 7, 1987. Surviving are two sons, Russell H. Conley and wife, Janet L., of Beaver, Ohio, and Paul E. Conley and wife Juanita, of Fairfield, Ohio; one daughter, Jean Ison Smith and husband Kenneth J. of Brooksville, Florida; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Leona was preceded in death by an infant daughter; three brothers, Harry, Welty and Charles Zimmerman; and three sisters, Hazel Havens, Imo Mossbarger and Ina Claytor.
