| About | Linda Lou Beekman, 61, of Beavers Ridge Road, Peebles, Ohio, went home to be with her Lord at 10:45 p.m. Sunday, March 5, 2006, at University Hospital, Cincinnati, Ohio. Linda was born August 13, 1944, in Elm Grove, Ohio, the daughter of the late Calvin Benjamin and Opal Mary (Smith) Williams. On August 18, 1965, she was united in marriage to Gary Paul Beekman, who survives. Also surviving are three sons: Darrick Beekman, of Cincinnati, Ohio, Darby Beekman and wife Kym, and Dustin Beekman and wife Shannon, both of Peebles, Ohio; six grandchildren: Michaela, Clay, Kaylee, Joshua, Evan and Morgan; two brothers: Kenneth Williams and wife Sharon and Frank Williams and wife Margaret, both of Waverly, Ohio, and a sister: Joyce Barker and husband Lloyd, of Piketon, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter-in-law: Deana Michele "Shelly" Beekman, a sister: Susan Legg, and a brother, Curtis Williams. Linda was a homemaker and devoted Christian, piano player and member of Beavers Chapel Church of Christ in Christian Union, Peebles, Ohio. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, 2006, at the Beavers Chapel Church of Christ in Christian Union with Rev. Roy Carver officiating. Burial will follow in White Oak Cemetery, Peebles, Ohio.
