| About | Funeral services for Lora E. Justice, 60, a former Piketon resident, of Beattyville, Ky., were held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Howe Co. Funeral Home of Piketon with Rev. William Carter officiating. Burial followed in Mound Cemetery there. Friends call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Saturday. Miss Justice died suddenly after being in the hospital only one day, Wednesday evening, February 26. At the time of her death she was operating a restaurant in Beattyville. A 1928 graduate of Piketon High School, she formerly assisted her parents in the operation of Justice’s Grocery in Piketon, and during World War II was a WAC in the Far East Theater. Miss Justice was a member of the Methodist Church. Born on October 25, 1908 at Pikeville, Ky., she was the daughter of the late John T. and Annis (Fraley) Justice. Surviving are three brothers, Perry of Sacramento, Calif., Achilles of Chicago, Ill., and Hughes Justice of San Antonis, Texas; and three sisters, Mrs. Grace Sime of Hawaii, Mrs. Virginia Myrio of Columbus, and Mrs. Alberta Smith of Waverly.
