| About | Portsmouth Daily Times (OH) - Friday, April 12, 2013 Loranna Noel, 82, of Camp Creek, Lucasville, died Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at her residence. She was born Feb. 2, 1931, in Magoffin County, Ky.; a daughter of the late Wanna Risner Van Dyke. Loranna was a homemaker, a member of the Mt. Olive Community Church, and a 1964 Piketon High School graduate. She is survived by one son, Charlie (Carolyn) Noel of Piketon; three grandchildren, Penny (John) Sowards, Mike (April) Noel, and Chad Breech; two great grandchildren, Matthew and Michelle Noel; one sister Judy (Sonny) Howard of Columbus; niece, Lora Giddings; and nephew Gerald Howard. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Russell Dean Noel, Aug. 21, 2007; one son Michael Noel; one daughter, Nancy Breech; one brother Benson Griffith; one nephew Brett Howard; and one niece, Wanda Baldwin. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2013, at the McKinley Funeral Home in Lucasville with David Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in Rushtown Cemetery.
