About Loretta Gay Hamilton, 49, of Bradenton, Fla., a former Pike County, resident, died Thursday, March 30, 1995, in Bradenton.
Born July 16, 1945, in Waverly, a daughter on William Henry Hopson and Minnie L. Fannin Hopson, she was a member of the Church of the Nazarene of Whitehall.
Surviving are a son, Brian L. Hamilton of Sarasota, Fla.; a daughter, Mrs. James (Carol R.) Kendall of Sarasota; five brothers, Bradley Hopson of Barstow, Calif., Joseph C. Hopson of Washington Court House, Robert H. Hopson of Hebron, Lonnie T. Hopson of Baltimore, Ohio, and Ollie Ray Hopson of Project City, Calif., two sisters, Pearl Deleo of Clovis, Calif., and Mrs. Arthur (Ruth Ann) Ruppert of Georgetown, Texas; and a grandson.
She also was preceded in death in death by four brothers, Sandy, Oscar, Edgar, Edgar and Ernest Hopson; and two sisters, Doris Jean Hopson and Olga May Adams.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Boyer Funeral Home in Waverly, with Elder Arvil Murray officiating, and interment in Chandler Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from noon until the services Sunday.
