| About | Mildred C. Noel Died: Friday, September 13, 2002 Age: 95 Mildred C. Noel, 95, of Highland, died Friday (Sept. 13, 2002) at her residence. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer L. Noel, who died May 16, 1989. She was born April 6, 1907 in Piketon, daughter of the late Thaddeaus and Mary Lobdill Henson. She was a 1925 graduate of Piketon High School, and was the oldest member of the Walnut Hills Church of Christ in Christian Union. She is survived by a daughter, Darlene (Claar) Ervin of Highland; three sons, Selby (Ethel) Noel of Tallahassee, Fla., Bob (Ann) Noel of Wilmington and Morris (Sharon) Noel of Rincon, Ga.; five grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Relma Bond of Huntington Beach, Calif.; and a brother, William Henson of Cochise, Ariz. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Marcella Ritchie and Nancy Ford; a brother, Ralph Henson, a grandson, Terry Lee Noel; and a nephew, Paul McAllister. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Walnut Hills Church of Christ in Christian Union, with Pastor Robert Carroll and Pastor Grover Blankenship officiating. Burial will be in the Mound Cemetery in Piketon. Visitation will be 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the TURNER FUNERAL HOME, 73 E. Main St., Leesburg, and 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the church.
