| About | BELLVILLE: Mildred Louise Thrush, 79, of Bellville passed away Sunday, May 17, 2009 in MedCentral Mansfield Hospital. She was born April 18, 1930 in Pike County to Ray and Grace Echerd, and was graduated from Piketon High School in 1949. Louise worked as an LPN at Mansfield General Hospital, and retired in 1985. She was devoted to her husband and loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Louise went out of her way to help her family because she always worried about them. In her retirement Mildred enjoyed quilting, cooking and antiquing. She is survived by her husband Charles Richard Thrush whom she married June 30, 1950, their children Richard and Theresa Thrush of North Canton, Roger and Laura Thrush of Clemmons, North Carolina, Linda and Donald Swearingen of Columbus, and Michael and Jodi Thrush of Ontario; eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild, and siblings Emma Snavely, Floyd Echerd, and Wilma Boyer. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings Richard and William Echerd, Edith Wik, Norma Rapp, and Bonnie Echerd. Friends may call Thursday May 21, 2009 from 6-8 pm in the Bellville Snyder Funeral Home, where the funeral service will be held Friday at 2 pm. Burial will follow in Zion Cemetery. |
