Patrick Michael Blankenship, 41, of Jasper Road, Piketon, Ohio, passed from this life Saturday, December 3, 2011 at the SOMC Hospice Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. He was born March 1, 1970 in Chillicothe, Ohio son of Hazel McKinley Blankenship and the late Walter Blankenship. On June 23, 2007 Patrick was united in marriage to Robin Jill Salisbury Blankenship who survives. Also surviving is son, Patrick Henry “Hank” Blankenship at home; a brother, Marty Blankenship of Piketon; as well as three sisters, Doris Montgomery and husband Eugene of Piketon, Alice Martin of Waverly, Ohio and Barbara Crabtree and husband Tim of Piketon. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Patrick was a Design Engineer and attended Chapel Hill Community Church in Waverly. Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at the Harmon Cemetery with Paul F. Hornback officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the Patrick M.
