About | Paul Kenneth Duke, 70 of St. Rt. 124 Piketon, Ohio died Tuesday January 4, 2011 at the Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe, OH. He was born on March 2, 1940 in Elm Grove, Ohio to the late Hiram Kenneth and Edna Mae Moore Duke. Surviving are his wife Julia Mae Smith Duke whom he married on November 28, 1959, 3 sisters: Carol Duke and Brenda Duke both of Piketon, and Nora (James) Johnson of Bellefontaine, OH. He was preceded in death by a sister, Pauline Mae Duke. He was a former employee of Western Electric in Columbus, Ohio, and was a retired Corrections Officer from the Southern Ohio Correctional Facility with 22 years of service. He was a 1958 Graduate of Piketon High School, a member of Peebles Lodge F.& A.M., V.F.W., and served 6 years in the U.S. Army. Memorial services and burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will not be observed.
