| About | Pauline Mae Snyder Ward, 88. Waverly passed away Saturday, October 20, 2018. She was born on January 9, 1930 in Pike County, Ohio to the late Lloyd Snyder and Gertrude Helen Snyder Adkins. She was united in marriage on January 20, 1951 to Richard Leroy Ward who preceded her in death on March 10, 2010. Surviving are a brother, David Adkins of Idaho, a nephew, Randall Dean Acord, nieces: Diane Botkin, Karen Sue Turner, Patricia Lynn Pyle, Debra Jean Durbin, Paula Kay Jackson, and numerous great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother, Glenn Ellis Snyder and two sisters, Donna Jean Adkins and Laura Alice Acord. She was retired from the Brown Fintube Co. in Elyria, Ohio and a member of the Methodist Church in Elyria. Pauline and Richard lived in Elyria for over thirty-five years. She was also a 1947 graduate of Piketon High School and a lifetime member of Beta Sigma Phi. Private services will be held at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Waverly with burial to follow in the Mound Cemetery, Piketon, Ohio.
