Perry Gaines, Jr., 68, of 444 Cherry Street, Waverly, Ohio died 12:40 p.m. Wednesday, 15 April 2015 at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe, Ohio. He was born 2 February 1947 in Circleville, Ohio the son of the late Perry Lewis Gaines and Hazel (Arledge) Gaines. Surviving are a son Wesley Lewis Gaines of Lucasville, Ohio and two daughters, Sarah Myers and husband Philip of Chillicothe, Ohio and Aimee Gaines of California, three grandchildren and brother, Larry Gaines and wife Goldie of Johnstown, Ohio and two sisters, Martha June Truman and husband Paul of Wheelersburg, Ohio and Linda McDowell and husband Larry of Lucasville, Ohio. Perry was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Doris Ann Hinty and Margie Keister and a half sister Roberta Jividen. He was a former employee of Waverly Wal-Mart. Calling hours will not be observed. Memorial services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the Family.
