| About | Pike County News-Watchman (Waverly, OH) - Wednesday, January 28, 2009 Deceased Name: Reta Mae Reta Mae, age 72, of Beaver-creek, Ohio, formerly of Piketon passed away Friday, January 23, 2009 at Greene Oaks Health Center. Reta was born in Pike County on February 15, 1936 to the late Russell Sager & Mary Reed Sager. She graduated from Piketon High School, was a nurse at Miami Valley Hospital for many years and retired from Oak Creek Terrace South. She was preceded in death by her son, Larry J. in 1999. Reta is survived by her husband of 55 years, Charles; son & daughter-in law, Dr. C. Steven Dixon & Dr. Linda Bailey of Beavercreek, OH; brother & sister-in-law, Don & Marie Sager of New Carlisle, OH; grandchildren, Matthew & Jessica Dixon, Ashley Dick; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at 2:00 PM Sunday, January 25, 2009 at the Marker & Heller Funeral Home, Huber Heights Chapel, 5844 Old Troy Pike with Pastor Dwayne Bryan officiating. The family received friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM Sunday until the service time. Private interment Mound Cemetery, Pike County, Ohio.
