| About | Tuesday, November 29, 2011 Reva E. Holbrook of St Rt #220, Waverly, OH died 2:30 p.m. Saturday 26 November 2011 at Southern Ohio Medical Center, Portsmouth, OH. She was born in Piketon, OH on 8 October 1918 the daughter of the late Ray Everett Pettit and Leta Mae (Anderson) Pettit. Reva was united in marriage to Dallas Frederick Holbrook on 9 April 1937 who preceded her in death on 14 May 1973. Surviving are a brother Donald A. Pettit of Waverly, OH and several nieces and nephews including Andy Pettit and wife Tina and Terry Legg and wife Bev. She was a retired Director of the Pike County Dept of Human Services, graduate of Piketon High School and a 50-year member of Waverly Chapter #99 O.E.S. Reva was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers: Glenn and Ronald Pettit, two sisters, Leta Jean Bennett and Ella Jane Legg. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday 29 November 2011 at the BOYER FUNERAL HOME in Waverly, Ohio with Pastor Marty Ford, Officiating. Burial will follow in Mound Cemetery, Piketon, OH.
